Germann container M/V Vera in collision with British tank M/T Cygnet were in the Baltic off the Northeast peak ] of the Danish island Funes on Dec 2. M/V Vera, homeport Hamburg, was underway from Arhus to Bremerhaven -- severely damaged as well as M/V Cygnet which was in ballst for Fredericia, Denmark. No pollution. British M/T British Cygnet with leaks in two ballast water tanks

At 1430 danish time, there was news about a ship collision between the german container vessel Vera and the British crude oil tanker British Cygnet. The tanker was underway to Port of Fredericia, Shell oil terminal, and was empty. The container vessel was underway from Port of Aarhus to Bremerhafen in Germany. The collision place was north of Fynshoved. There is a big hole in the side of the tanker and big damage on the front of the container vessel. No people is injured on the two vessels and no oil spill reported.
