Grounding occured on September 22 of the 2006 built
10,600 dwt chem+ oil tanker Clipper Kristin
as a result of a power failure off Camerons Island
in the St Lawrence Seaway.
Waterborne traffic continued one-way
and at reduced speed until two Group Ocean tugs
pulled the vessel off Camerons Crab two days later.
The ship proceeded to the Lac St Francois Anchorage
where no repairs were deemed necessary at the time.
