Chemical M/T NCC Madinah (built 1976), with 32 crew -- discharged cargo in Gresik, Indonesia -- next for anchorage -- in collision with small inbound Indonesian tanker occurred shortly before midnight on 6 July -- vessel will have to be dry-docked. C MADINAH (Norway IS, 17561gt) and tanker MR-I (Indonesia, 3570gt) were in collision near Buoy No 4, Tanjung Perak 6-July-2005. One seaman of MR-I was killed, three injured and one missing. MR-I starboard side was badly damaged including lifeboat 3 cabins and more than 3 rooms. NCC Madinah’ stbd hull was holed and other plates was pushed in.

No real cause info on this collision but it clearly was not port to port.

Madinah was double bottom, single side.
