Reports have been received that the Lucky Lady ran aground whilst approaching the berth at Cilicap and damaged her hull, leaking 1000 M/T of crude oil. The vessel is now at berth and undergoing further inspection.

Daily Shipping Newsletter 2004-178 says "damage to a starboard tank" Dolphin volume looks suspect and needs confirmation, but is repeated by a number of sources. Ship was loaded with 80,000 tons of Brunei crude to the refinery at Cilacap, on the south coast of Java.

Need cause, damage location, penetration. There are a number of sources on the web in Malay. We need a Malay reader.
