OBO loaded with 50,000 m3 of heavy fuel oil, Ventspils for USA, and a draft of 12.5 m fresh water plotted a course over water where the depth was 10.8 m. Apparently, a note on the chart to notify ER at this point had obscured the depth. The ship was refloated on the 17th. No spill, but the ship diverted to Gothenburg, was discharged and went to the yard for repair.

The ship was not under pilot since it was under 13 m draft. As a result of this grounding, the Danes lowered the draft for required pilotage to 11 m.
