20 Feb 02- The M/T EAGLE MILWAUKEE arrived and anchored at SW Pass Lightering area at 2006 hrs. Lightering operation was to commence at 0001
hrs on 21 Feb 02 but was deferred due to heavy swell. The M/V AMERICAN DISCOVERY, an offshore supply vessel was standing by as the assist
vessel approximately 1 mile away. Once the swell subsided, the anchor was heaved up at 0918 hrs with the M/T EAGLE MILWAUKEE and the M/T
VENUS GLORY proceeding with the operation. During the morning of the 21st the winds were about 12 knots and seas were 3 feet. Swells were
about 7 - 8 feet with a period of 6 - 7 seconds. The VENUS GLORY was on a heading of 240 at 6 knots with Master and Assistant Mooring Master
on board. Mooring Master brought the EAGLE MILWAUKEE to approximately 1.3 to 1.1 miles astern of and off the starboard quarter of the GLORY.
