The Brazil oil tanker Verginia II smashed into a pier at Sao Sebastiao
as it tried to dock on November 4th,
spilling more than 22,000 gallons of crude oil into the ocean.
The fine will be US $515,000.
OSIR says Petrobras fined USD 3.6 million and repeats the 22,000 gallon figure.
Uses the name Vergina II.
Perobras appealing in part because ship was under control of pilots at time.
