This 77,000 ton double hull OBO is a poster child for bad tankers. In Feb 1998, engine damage and lost anchor at Jamaica under the name Ballerina. In 1999 detained in Gibraltar and Puerto Rico. In November, 1999 grounded in the Baltic 16 mi NNE Rostock, 54.27.8N,12.10.8E and holed. (She may still have been Ballerina, Norwegian flag at this point.) In December 2000, detained in New York with "numerous fractures on main deck and hatch coamings". In August 2001, detained in Virgin Islands with oil leaking into ballast tanks. In 2004 at Savona was detained with 14 deficiencies.
