On 22 January, the Indonesian tanker Pelita Pertamina 1023 spilled an unknown quantity of fuel oil at the Tankstore terminal on Pulau Busing, Singapore. Tankstore official noticed the leak and immediately boomed the vessel to contain the oil. Tankstore officials believe that the oil came from an internal leak from a cargo tank to a segregated ballast tank.
