Iraqi tanker M/T Jampur carrying gasoline collided with the Chinese flagged bulk carrier M/V Da Tung Shang at Sawyer Point. 2600 tons of oil spilled from Jampur and caused severe pollution.

This source has good pictures of the damage, and says the bow of the bulk carrier went thru both shell and longitudinal bulkhead to a total penetration of 6 m. Center tank was damaged as well as 1S. Damage extends from below the waterline to deck. Max penetration is at deck. Says ships was a 34,000 ton product carrier No speed info. Guesses spill volume at 10-15,000 barrels.
