within a 6 week period in Oct/Nov 1986.

when an air launched Exocet struck her on the port side
of the bow when about 45 mi south of Kharg Island
in a ballast condition.
A small fire was ignited
but it was extinguished by the crew about 90 minutes later.
There were no injuries.
The vessel then turned around and headed to Dubai for repairs.
