As a result of severe heavy weather damage
sustained in the Bay of Biscay on February 2, 1984,
while on a voyage from Amsterdam to the United States
with a cargo of gas oil, the Panamanian motor tanker
Enrico Dandolo was subsequently declared a CTL.
When she put into Corunna on February 3,
she was found to have a warped deck
and a badly damaged hull.
She was sold to shipbreakers at Ferrol to be scrapped.
