The Greek motor bulk carrier Rhodian Sailor
was on a voyage from Bukpyong, South Korea
to Umm Said, Qatar,
carrying a cargo of cement in bags,
when she sank south of Taiwan
in approximately lat 21N, 120E of Decmber 26, 1982
after taking in water.
There was only one survivor, the second engineer Romeo Cavan,
who was picked up by the South Korean motor bulk carrier
Global Star after he had spent two days adrift.
