When berthed at Oran on December 28, 1980,
the Liberian motor tanker Gogo Rambler sustained extensive hull damage
during a violent storm that struck the Algerian coast,
when she broke her moorings, struck the quay heavily,
and was involved in multiple collisions with other vessels in the port,
After being declared a constructive total loss,
she was sold to Spanish shipbreakers
and scrapped at Cartagena.
