Collision between fully loaded Citta di Savona and fully loaded Philippine Star in the Eastern Anchorage, just off Singapore. Savona was holed in 5P, port side midships at the waterline. Also some underwater damage. Philippine Star had bow damage Philippine Star also hit the empty Esso Spain. Ony Savona leaked oil.

Initially, Savona master refused to sign LOF, then told salvors he had no place to transfer the 5P oil to, which turned out to be untrue.

ETC has the spill at 6488 BBLS crude. Sounds like Philippine Star is the culprit, perhaps anchor dragging. Also sounds like Savona belatedly decided to transfer oil into ballast tanks. But we don't know.
