could do 21 knots.
Bottom plating was 36 mm thick.
Typical bottom plating of a modern 300,000 dwt tanker
is 24 mm thick.
Ship was converted to drillship in 1977,
eventually became Dimaond Clipper,
set several offshore drilling records,
and in 2009 at age 55 is still going strong.
